How to Measure Using Tape
Step-by-step Instructions (use these exact captions):
- Place transparent tape over your nail
Lay a piece of clear tape horizontally across the widest part of your natural nail.
- Press down on both sides
Gently press the tape along the sides so that it conforms to the shape of your nail bed.
- Mark the left side
Using a pen, mark where the tape intersects with the left edge of your nail.
- Mark the right side

If you are unsure of the nail size or do not have a measuring tape, you may use the coin method.
How to do the coin method:
- Make sure nails are clean, bare, and natural
- Place the child’s hand on a flat surface
- Put a coin next to the nail, not on top of it
- Ensure the entire nail and coin are visible
- Take a clear photo with good lighting
- Repeat for the other hand if needed

- Keep fingers straight and relaxed
